I used pen with different colour and height to carve details so its more refined and aesthetically pleasing. The ornament also can be served to enhance the era of Victorian, as it is one of the obvious feature of the product and furniture at the time. I decided to hand draw all these ornaments as machine at the time was unable to make these small details on very small device like this, which can only be hand crafted. Meanwhile these trace of hand crafting is giving the impression of the fact that it is a one-off production product, a production method that is more commonly used for luxury items due to its low efficiency, adding on the value to the product.
